Class B misdemeanor

Hello, my wife is Canadian and she is going to sponsor me. i have a class B misdemeanor and i would like to know if that will affect my eligibility to be sponsored.

Yes what were you charged with as class B accounts for a lot of things.

yea, US citizen, and the misdemeanor was for trespassing.

I believe the test for criminal inadmissibility is if the equivalent crime committed in Canada would receive a sentence of 10 or more years in prison. Any confirmation on that?
