Hi,
I find Section D somewhat unclear and would love some input on this:
A) Under part 3), Personal and Work History, when ask to provide details regarding education periods, should we consider a 5-year university degree as a single 5-year period with no gaps, or should we break it down taking into account the summer breaks? For instance, I often went home (not in Canada) during summer breaks, or sometimes took summer classes. As a result, should I, in this section, mark the periods during which I went out of the country on breaks? If so, should I mark such period as "Travel"? Or "Vacation"? I'm not sure what to do in this situation, as this section does not explicitly ask to mention all entries into Canada.
B) Should we provide proof of employment (employment letters and such) only for the jobs that we wish to claims point for and simply provide an LOE to explain why we did not provide any proof of employment regarding these occupations? (This question has been answered by the positive a few times, but what I would like is support for this claim, obtained either directly from the CIC or from the experience of someone who has actually done this)
Thank you all!
PS: As a related issue to A) above, in section A of the application, part 6, we must list "any visits made to Canada". Does each entry into Canada while under a study permit (or work permit) or does any given period of study/work count as one continuous visit even if we left a country, on vacation for instance?
