Clarification on - CRS – D. Additional points for Arranged employment(NOC 0,A,B)

Hi All

Effective 19-NOV-2016, the express entry has changes to CEC Class with additional 50 Points those who are on Work permit - ICT and currently at Canada. One of the clause is


c. you have a valid work permit for a NOC 0, A or B job that is exempt from needing an LMIA, and you:

• are currently working for an employer specified on the work permit
• have one year of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work) for that employer and
• have a valid job offer from that employer for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa.

My question is for this clause -> have a valid job offer from that employer for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa

I plan to create the express entry profile this week. Since I don't know when my PR will be issued, is this offer something I need to show after the PR is issued OR after I receive ITA, and NOT while creating the Express entry profile?

Any input on this will be greatly appreciated!

Once you receive your ITA - you'll have to upload a letter in the document checklist.

Thanks. So this Job offer shall be Valid for One year from the date I receive the ITA?

No, from the date you receive your PR - but it has to be uploaded in the document checklist before you submit your application.

Thanks again. So I don't need to worry about that at the time I create the Express entry profile but need to arrange the one when the PR is issued at a later date

You don't need to worry about it now, but you have to arrange it once you receive your ITA not when the PR is issued.

If I may bug you one more (last) time, Suppose that I create the EE profile on 30-DEC-2016 and that I would receive an ITA as of 15-MAR-2017 - When I submit the documents (in response to the ITA) on 10-APR-2017, I should include a Valid Job offer from the current employer that's valid for one year from 10-APR-2017? Is that right?

No. It should be valid for at least one year from when your CoPR is issued, which means, assuming standard processing time for EE (6 months), it should be valid for at least one year from Oct 2017 .
