Clarification on Citizenship status (by descent vs naturalized)

Hi,

I'm sponsoring my spouse who currently lives oversees. I need to complete the form number IMM1344 and need help/clarification on citizenship by descent vs naturalized citizen.

Question #6 on that form asks, "Status in Canada" and these are the options available:

1. Canadian citizen by birth
2. Canadian citizen by descent
3. Naturalized Canadian citizen
4. Permanent resident

According to the guide 3900, here's the definition of option #2 and #3:

Canadian citizen by descent -> citizenship through a parent
Naturalized Canadian citizen -> after immigrating to Canada

In my case, my father had immigrated to Canada and became permanent resident. He sponsored his family and we (my mother, myself and siblings) then immigrated to Canada. When my father got his citizenship, I was still under 18 years of age and so, I got my citizenship at the same time (when he received his)

In my case, am I a Canadian citizen by descent or am I a Naturalized Canadian citizen? Both seem to apply to me and there's not enough details on this on CIC website.

Does anyone know more details on this. Has anyone gone through spouse sponsorship application in similar situation?

You are number 3. Your parents were not citizens on the date that you were born.
