Hello,
I kept filing EI (Employment Insurance) even after I left Canada for 3 months.
Does IRCC Consider that as Misrepresentation on my Visitor Visa application (made outside Canada), because I need to come back as a Visitor for some training on my job back-home ?
I got EI because I got into an accident and I lost my job.
I’m looking to re-pay them but after I get hired again.
Thanks a lot for your insightful response!!

You can claim EI but be outside Canada no longer than 7 days. So yes it is fraud.

Thank you for responding. Do you think they will refuse a TRV Visitor application based on this reason ?
What type of work permit do you have? You are defrauding the government so yes, your TRV can be refused. You want to come to Canada as a visitor for training but taking EI from the government.
