Claiming Canadian citizenship or permanent residency

Hi,

I'm in Canada as an international student, but my dad is a Canadian citizen. He was naturalized shortly after I was born. Am I eligible for citizenship/ permanent residency/ other status other than international, by virtue of him being a Canadian citizen. If so how can I go about applying for it?

1. No you are not eligible for citizenship as your father became a citizen after you were born.
2. It depends on your age if your father can sponsor you for PR (assuming he is still in Canada) and if over 22 that you have been in continuous schooling since turning 22.
