Hi all!
I have a bit of a complicated case. I've applied as a refugee, but after waiting for almost two years for a hearing I've decided to be included in my spouse's PR application.
I want to apply for PR so I can visit my spouse's family (not in my country), but I can't leave Canada without knowing I will be able to come back.
The thing is, they will eventually ask for my passport, but the one I had was given to them two years ago and it expired anyway. I know that there have been some cases of people getting a new passport from their country and later on having problems with the hearing. I don't wanna drop my refugee claim until I know I'll get PR, so getting a new passport is the only way or should I just eplain my situation to them in the LOE without sending anything? Has anybody been in this situation?
I'd really appreciate the help!
