Hello Everyone,
I am a Canadian PR since 2020 and have filed Tax returns before. I sponsored my wife in 2021 and she landed in Canada in November 2021.
She was unemployed in 2021 and I paid for rent and daily expenses during that time. She does not have any physical or mental disability.
Does this make me eligible to claim the amount for partner in line 30300 while filing for returns? Does her being unemployed mean I "supported" her?
