There's no limit to how many. And it's very easy as long as you include a letter from the sponsor (your husband in this case) saying I work here for this much and I will continue to support my wife. My husband came here in May 2011, we got married Sept 2011 and applied March 2012 and he landed Jan 2013! :) And he's American :P

Awesome! So is there any particular reason you didn't apply until March of 2012? I'm going to guess because of the paperwork for the application.. I was hoping I could get most of it prepared before we get married, so that I could submit it shortly after. I'm not sure if this is possible at all, though. :o

It was a mix of that and realizing that the FBI check took FOREVER and the medicals took FOREVER (To get an appointment) AND the marriage certificate took forever. I think the last thing we were waiting on was actually the marriage certificate.

No we could've applied as common law much earlier. I thought because we were engaged, we had to wait until we got married. Long story short, we could've done common law and gotten married later instead of waiting to apply as married... But that's okay. It all worked out.

I'd like to thank everyone again for their replies! You've given me more hope than I had before, which makes life a bit easier! Thanksssss! :-*
