Hi we are in the final stages of putting our application together just a few final questions:
1. In terms of the civil status documents in the document check list, we are common law/Own a property together but do not have a cohabitation agreement or formally entered into a registered domestic partnership) I know it's not necessary but should we get a lawyer to draft something? seems like it's expensive if we don't need it. We have advised CRA that we are common-law - would that work showing that? or should we sign the statutory declaration of common-law? or just not put anything?
For the OPEN WORK PERMIT APPLICATION
1. I am confused what to fill out since she is already in Canada with a job on a (PGWP), so should we select a work permit with the same employer and restoration of your status of a worker or something else?
2. for details of intended work in Canada should we list that we already have a job?
I am just confused because technically she could have no job and qualify so I'm wondering if we should bother listing these details?
any help with filling out the open work permit application would be greatly appreciated.
