Hello all,

I got married in March of this year in India and I am currently gathering the documents for the PR process.
My wife does not have a birth certificate, will aadhar card and driving license qualify as identity cards.

Secondly in the forms it asks for national identity, can we put in the aadhar card number, if so do we leave the expiry date blank, since there is no expiry date on the card?

Thanks,
Hari

Hello hari ,

1.Try to get the birth certificate.

IDENTITY AND CIVIL STATUS DOCUMENTS
Birth and/or baptism certificate
Note: If the birth is registered late, include the original baptism certificate and other original
documents establishing identity such as:
• old school records (Fifth class, Middle standard and Matriculation certificate), and
• Voter’s ID card.

2. If you include aadhar card number leave the expiry date blank
also include a copy of your aadhar card in the file
