My citizenship application has been delivered by post to NS 's office.
Please tell me if there is any way I can link it online ? so that all my application status updates can be emailed to me by cic.gc.ca directly instead of me checking manually?

Once your application is received by CIC, they take time to open, review the application and then send an "acknowledgement of receipt" (AOR). AOR is taking 8 weeks-ish, at this point (keep an eye on the spreadsheets to see the trends/averages). They send this by email. At that point, you can use the file number on the AOR email or your UCI to check the application status online in ECAS ( https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do ).

There is no way to link the application online, you have to wait until they send you the AOR by email.

Once you get your AOR you can check online using ECAS as Esther mentioned. When did you send it in? if in September, you can join the September 2018 thread to see how others are progressing and if you want to submit your info for the public tracker you can do so there as well:
