my name is Joanna Atsidakou, i am 25 years old and i am from Greece.
My problem is that my mother lives in Toronto when she was a little girl and she lives there for 3 to 4 years with her family. I want to know if she has license or citizenship for that years because i want to immigrate to Canada. All your answer will help me.

Hi Joanna, citizenship/immigration does not work like this. Just because your mother stayed in Toronto for 3 to 4 years, does not automatically grant her citizenship. You need to find out what kind of document she has from that time. Share with us, and we can help.

May I ask you why you want to immigrate to Canada ? Is Greece no good for you. I have heard Greece is a beautiful country to live in and its prosperous.

To the best of my knowledge this will not help you at all. Your mother I assume is not Canadian by birth? If she just spent some time in Canada as a child then you would have to go the same path every other foreigner goes through, via becoming first a permanent resident and then qualifying for citizenship.
