I took a shot at creating a residency calculator for citizenship eligibility in excel. You can choose what residency requirement to calculate based on (3/5 or 4/6).

As I am no expert with how residency requirements are calculated please let me know if you find calculation errors. But at least the calculator results match with the current CIC calculator if I choose the 4/6 residency requirements.
