Hi! I know that the citizenship requirement has been changed from 4 years out of 6 to 3 out of 5. I remember when I received my PR that there was a minimum stay per year above the 4/6 requirement (at the time). Is this still applicable for the new rule 3/5 requirement, or if I stayed in Canada 3 years in the last 5 years, even if I wasn't present in Canada physically for 2 consecutive years, then I would be eligible? Thanks in advance

Yes, you would. That minimum stay per year rule is gone.
Feel free to fill the presence calculator, it will tell you if ans when you're eligible.

How does it work? I don't know what date I will be eligible to start with. It says to provide today's date if you don't know. Will this give me an accurate answer when I will be eligible?
Yes it will just follow the instructions on calculator plz
