Hello,

Is it possible to take the citizenship oath when I am outside Canada. And is it possible to apply first time Canadian passport outside Canada?

Thanks,
Jasmeen Kaur

Unless IRCC makes an exception, and this happens very very rarely it's in practice impossible, no, you're coming back for your oath. The passport can be done anywhere.

There's an option in my invitation letter that says if I want to attend virtual. I just want to make sure that it's okay to attend virtual from outside Canada if it's mentioned in the invitation letter.

You have to be within Canada for the virtual oath, if memory serves

Virtual from Canada. If you show up to the ceremony from outside the country, IRCC will ask you to leave the zoom ceremony.
