Citizenship issue due to Canadian PR and US L1 visa?

I’m Canadian PR and would be eligible to apply for my citizenship in Sept 2020. My company wants me to work on US based project which will require me to travel to the US every other week for attending meetings and working in Canada over a period of 6 months. Will it be an issue while applying my citizenship if I hold L1 visa? Or should I be on B1 visa to avoid complications?

So cannot answer the L1/B1 question but assume that you meet the phsyical presence requirement for citizenship without these weeks in the US. You can of course count the day you leave and the day you come back as days in Canada but not the days in the US in between.
