I am confused about Question 8 (b) in Minor's citizenship application form. It asks "Has the minor been outside of Canada for a total of 730 days or more in the last five (5) years or since becoming a permanent resident?"
My daughter is a permanent resident for 4 years and since then she has been outside of Canada for 633 days. So my confusion is, if I consider the time period only after her becoming a permanent resident, I need to select "NO" but during the last 5 years, she was out of Canada for more than 730 days, since she became a permanent resident only before 4 years.
So what should I select here? YES or NO? Please guide.
