Citizenship - Address and Study dates starting outside the 5 year period

I am applying for citizenship and wondering how I input address/study information that starts outside the 5 year period

For example if my eligibility period starts Jan 2020, and I lived at an address from August 2019 to August 2020, do I put Start Date in the application as Jan 2020 or August 2019?

If I put Jan 2020, the information is not technically accurate as I moved in August 2019. But I am also concerned that putting dates outside the 5 years will cause confusion to the immigration officers

If the online application accepts putting the real starting date, do so, if it throws a mistake, put the beginning of the 5 years eligibility period. It's no big deal one way or another.
