hey guys,

CIC received my application on Oct 24, 2013 and today i got an email from CIC asking for RCMP Criminal record check. They said they sent an initial request on Jan 29th, 2014 but I have never got this mail/email. What should I do now? Am I screwed? Can I still do my Medical without a medical request?

Thanks,

What you should do is get the fingerprinting done ASAP! And then worry about the MR later.

CIC sent a final reminder today say i have to have it done in 30 days. they said 60 days last week. I am confused now. I have my finger print done on Sat. How long does it take to get it from RCMP?

Make sure you get it done electronically through one of the 6 accredited agencies - processing will be much faster (e.g. 72 hours if you have no convictions)

Hi frnds,

One of my friends applied CEC during Dec'14 and got AoR. He was arrested one time on drunk and drive, but not convicted. The Cop took him to police office, where they checked and his alcohol level was very less and released.

Will it affect his MR and PR process?. He didn't get any RCMP request till now.

Is that go to his criminal record and VO can able to notice this?

Any thoughts on this ?

Thanks.

Now a days it's a common practice to ask question on behalf of somebody else . Most often when it's a bad item then people use my friend or my cousin bla bla bla and when it's respectful thing the it's me it's me . Anyway, did you read the title if the thread? I think police should arrest you as well and convict because you seems like drunk to ask thIs question here.

Hello Jee,

Hope you didn't read through the maters inside this thread. Its about RCMP request, and I have started asking related with RCMP. Since people answered here, I thought I will get answer. Regarding my frnd, He is not active here. So, I have asked behalf of him. Is that wrong?

Why you guys always criticize someone?? If you dont like to answer no need this long stories.

Thanks anyway. Let me re-post as a new thread.
