Friends, I am starting this thread to understand the cases where CIC did contact the employer/supervisor to verify their employment. There might be very very few cases but wanted to know if there is anyone out there who are aware of the fact that CIC did contact their supervisor/employer.

Please feel free to share your views and experiences.
 
I haven't heard this happening but provided detailed contact info for previous employers so they would be able to easily verify if need be. One company I worked for sort of got acquired so the business entity (corporation) still exists and owned by parent company but the website, etc. are all gone. HR can still confirm employment if they get in touch.
 
in One of my friends case CIC has contacted Employer.

Do you have an idea if they contacted by email or by phone and what did they ask?
 
i am not sure , i think CIC might have contacted by phone ..
HR has not provided the information requested by CIC , later CIC has requested candidate to provide the additional documents to support proof of employment.

Do you know what kind of additional documentation was your friend asked to provide to CIC and whether he eventually passed the eligibility and received medicals?
