AOR Received.

Hi ,

I just received a notification that my CIC reduced my score to 395? :o before it was 400.

I have already applied to OINP since January 2016 and I wanted to know if this changes anything.

Please help.

Thanks
FEYA

Dint they provide any reason for reducing ur score?

If this CRS points reduction is due to a Birthday (increase in age), then it will not have any effect on your OINP application.

This is the only exception case considered for CRS points reduction by both OINP and IRCC

My age range is still the same - even if a year older.(since a day)

They did not say anything I just received a notification by mail .... this website is so unreliable.

What do I do now? :( :o

If you don't think it's your age that affected your score, do you have any Canadian work experience became more than 3 years older recently?

Why would score reduce if his Canadian experience has increased?

If it falls out of the last 3 years, assuming their Canadian experience was completed in the past and not being held up to the present. CEC only considers work experience in the last 3 years. OP didn't even mention yet if they're in CEC or FSW.

Just a stab at a guess since there's still a lot we don't know yet about the OP's profile.

Hi all,

Thank you so much for responding. :)

The following is what I received in my inbox :

Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information.

Nothing changed on my side I verified everything. The only thing is that I completed my 2nd Masters from a Swiss university - for which I started accreditation process.

How do I contact CIC?

Just check this link and see which factor is affecting your CRS score:

Thanks so much. Apparently it is my age.

How do I make up for that? My husband did not take the IELTS test.... should he take it ?

I hope it won't affect my application.

As I predicted before it was because of a birthday. You can ask your husband to appear for IELTS and get his ECA done. This can help in increasing your CRS points.

Yes, you can get ECA and IELTS done for your husband. For spouse, You can claim up to a maximum of 10 points for ECA and 20 points for IELTS.
