They also said that candidates invited to apply now will likely not have their applications processed for at least six months.”

This was tweeted a few days ago by IRCC and has already been discussed pretty extensively in the Express Entry section of the forum.

FYI - the cicnews web site is not a government site. They don't always give an accurate picture of things. I would recommend going to the official IRCC web site or official IRCC tweets for information instead. This is where you'll get the best / accurate / most up to date information.

Do you have any idea like i got invitation in march 18 draw and submitted on march 27 are they going to process my file or not .
Because i got confused with the line from the tweet that” They also said that candidates invited to apply now will likely not have their applications processed for at least six months“

See the general status from the official source which does not quote a time but does imply they will process applications although with some delay given same as everyone they have staffing constraints due to COVID. Just have to be patient and it will take as long as it takes
