CIC Fees Receipt- Spousal [Outland] Application

HI Everyone,

Owing to a technicality, our Spousal [Outland] Application was returned back to me in FEB, of this year. I was in Cuba at the time, for 2.5 months, so only arrived back early April. I will be re-submitting the application at the end of April.

A question: While CIC has not refunded my fees [a standard CIC Fees Receipt was issued], is there a "statute of limitations" so-to-speak, on fees paid? Basically, after 2 and a half months, will my Fees Receipt Document still be vaild, when i go to include it within the "Sponsor" section of the application.

cic isn't going to refund your fees because technically they haven't been applied to the application yet.

the receipts you have will be valid until CIC applies them to your application. it doesn't matter how long ago they were paid. i paid some of my fees 6 mo. in advance and there was no issue. you do not need to repay anything, just put the same receipts in the package and you will be fine.
