CIC call employer during CEC application process

Anybody got call from CIC ?? or your employer got call during CEC application process
I am really worried people after me getting MR..My employer got call last thursday
If anyone in same situation please share your experience.how long for MR after verification...

Yes - it has happened.

There must be things CIC would like to confirm with your employer - but since you've gotten your MR, I wouldn't worry too much about the call

Dont worry.. Calling employer does not mean you are in trouble. Sometimes they call to verify things. If your experience is true, then you dont need to worry anything. Be positive. Meanwhile Can you please explain or share what questions they asked your employer.?

thank you so much for the reply .yes my experience is true and also i am working for LMO approved position and closed work permit .One of my co-worker applied during may and he got MR already..My employer informed he got call from cic and they asked about how long i am working in this position..what s my working hour. what duties i have, wther i do overtime..then how do i qualify for this position, i think tats it they asked

No i dnt receive MR yet...they called last Thursday evening .. still i am waitng ...

How many applicants your and your friend have on Cec application ( including Principal Applicant and Dependent/Spouse)?

You should be fine if they ask these question. I dont see anything weird.

when you apply CEC, then we can calculate it .

and btw : how long you receive the call after AOR

What date your friend and you applied?
How many applicants your and your friend have on Cec application ( including Principal Applicant and Dependent/Spouse)?

You should be fine if they ask these question. I dont see anything weird.

my friend applied alone on may 2nd week and gt medical request dec 8th
me applied with husband on 2 june 2014 and aor 14 july 2014 ..gt call jan 22nd last thursday

Ok I have seen and i believe thats fact..Processing for single applicants is faster than others. So dont worry.. You will get your request pretty soon..
