CIC asking for FBI Certificates once again

Dear Members

I posted the same question in NOV13 forum and for better visibility and response, i am posting here once again.


I received an email from CIC asking me to send them the FBI certificate. However i sent them the FBI Certificate along with my application. The FBI certificate is dated Sep-11-2013. I am being asked to send them within 60 Days. Can you please tell me what do i do now?

Has any one else been in the same situation and please guide me as to what you did?

The sooner you comply with their request, the better for you.
Asking them why the request even if you sent something earlier is counterproductive.

It doesn't hurt to email them and state that you already submitted the FBI certificate with your application, do they really need a new one? Sometimes the VO will have overlooked something and will tell you you don't need a new one. Other times, the certificate has gotten lost (alas, it happens), and there's nothing the VO can do but ask you for a new one.

But in the meantime, start putting together your application for a new one...
