Hi folks,

Looks like the Canadian Experience Class is the best option for my wife and I, but I just want to confirm and hear what you have to say.

We came to Canada, BC in 2013 to study. We studied Computer Science for two years and got our diplomas. Right after the graduation, we applied for work permits and started working.

Our work permits are valid till the middle of 2019 or something; therefore, we have quite a bit of time. However, technically we're eligible for the Canadian experience class program since we've worked as web-developers or online marketeers for a little more than a year.

Now the question is whether it's a good idea to go with the Canadian Experience class, or maybe a different class would offer better chances. Should we apply for the PNP?

I was thinking about hiring a consultant, but it's better to know the trivialities beforehand.

Thanks for the help, folks.

If you are qualified for CEC, you can apply for CEC. But try to give ur IELTS upfront to check your CRS score. Even to apply for a PNP you would need IELTS anyways

And the CRS score would be required for the express entry?

Would it make sense, in theory, to apply for CEC, PNP and Skilled Worker simultaneously once I have my IELTS results?

Unless you have thousands of dollars to spend in each case. One category is more than enough.

You misunderstand, you do not choose the program (under EE). If your profile is accepted into the pool and your score is high enough to receive an Invitation to apply, the ITA will tell you which of the programs managed under EE that you can apply to (FSW, CEC, FST). If you are eligible for both FSW and CEC, you will be invited for CEC by default.

There are different PNP programs, some of which add points to your EE profile, others which have "standard" processing (long time) outside of EE.
