Hi, Can someone experienced help me with this question. If a Chinese student wants to come to study in Canada, can he apply study permit through CIC website or does he have to apply on paper ? This student has never been to Canada before. Thanks a lot.

Yes you can apply online through MY CIC .

And for the paper application you have to search for the nearest VFS Canada to submit your file.
