China notary office problem

Hi,

Hi, I live in Guangzhou China and I am applying for a family class sponsorship for my Chinese wife.　We are having difficulties with the notary offices in China. They refused to do the notarizations in a Western way. They refuse to follow the following instructions;

Certified true copies

To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:
•“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,
•the name of the original document,
•the date of the certification,
•his or her name,
•his or her official position or title, and
•his or her signature.

Is it somehow ok to submit documents notarized in a Chinese style that essentially doesn't follow any of the instructions given my Canada Immigration?

Are these documents ones that you had translated into English? Just a possible idea, Perhaps you could go to Beijing if they have a Foreign Affairs Department and have them compare the Chinese Document with the English document and have them Authenticate it. Then after that go to the Canadian Embassy and have them Authenticate the same English copies that were Authenticated at DFA, I would think that should be sufficient.

Better to go to Hong Kong which is nearer. Any notary public will do.

I've heard the it's ok to use the version from the notary public. Is it?

Just go to any notary public in Hong Kong.

Did you submit the documents notarized and translated in the mainland notary public? Was it ok?
