hi
I would like to get help from this forum as I got a lot of professional advices from the forum members long time back when I applied for my PR. My question is regarding the citizenship.

I came to Canada on PR in July 2011 with my wife but left my daughter in India as I was new here. I brought her in Canada in March 2012. Now I am almost eligible to apply for Citizenship but my daughter came late almost 10 months. She is right now 8 years old.
My question is ----Is she is eligible to apply for Citizenship as she is minor and her parents have completed the citizenship requirement number of days in Canada or She will have to wait for 10 more months to get eligible?. Please reply me as I have no clue.

Hope to hear someone experience member of the forum soon.

Thanks and Regards
Kumar

Minor children must:

be under 18 years of age at the time of the application;
be a permanent resident of Canada;
have at least one parent (includes adoptive parent) who is a Canadian citizen or who will become a citizen at the same time as the child (applying together as a family).

So as long we one of the parent is becoming citizen (you in this case), the child can apply at the same time.

I have a question please

In minor application question number 9 .has the child left Canada for 6 months or longer since becoming a permanent resistant ?

Is this 6 months in total or 6 moths per trip? my children have 2 trips ( first one was 4 moths and the other one is 3 months)

so should I answer yes and write those trips or answer no because each trip is less than 6 months
