I have applied for Child Tax benefit for my daughters in August 2014, then in september Revenue canada send a letter that your application is incomplete and we are unable to process kindly provide proof of landing, childs birth certificates to us within 30 days otherwise we will consider that you are not eligible for this benefit, i sent all documents within a week.

now last week i received a letter for Revenue canada that this notice represents the information as of 29-october that you

we have established that you are not eligible for

<Kid Name > since you do not meet the residency requirement"
<Kid Name > since you do not meet the residency requirement"

---------------

now i am confused what could be the reason on which they sent this letter, could it be the reason that they have not received my documents, as they clearly mentioned in their last letter that if we dont receive the documents within 30 days we will consider you not eligible for this benefit.

pls help me what to do . . what should be my next course of action ??? should i send them a letter or ???

Based on your previous messages you aren't living in Canada right now. You need to be living in Canada to qualify to recieve the child tax benefit. You'll need to wait until you have returned to Canada and then apply again.

It means you and your children must be living in Canada to qualify. Are you and your children currently living in Canada?

Your situation is very straightforward. You aren't living in Canada so you aren't eligible for this benefit. When you return to Canada with your kids, refile your application and you should qualify. Given your history, the CRA may ask for proof of your residency (i.e., school enrollment records, lease, etc.) but it should be fairly straightforward. Benefits are retroactive, so you will receive them from the date you qualified.

I think we were very clear with you that once your Kids are out of Canada your will not be entitled for any Child Benefit, see the link below:
