We are PR family me, wife and 4 year old child since Aug 2008. However, 6 weeks after the second child was born in 2008, we (i.e. myself, wife and first child) did the landing in Canada. When the 2nd baby was born, her grandparents (my parents) refused to let us take the new born baby; yes she is our baby, but grandparents were old, sick, and it was hard to let them down. Unfortunately, right after our landing in Aug-2008, we were forced to come back to Middleeast (were my parents live) because my mother’s health condition started to get worse day after day. After nine months of hospital visits, and in-patients, diagnosis shows that my mother had a kind of deadly cancer (called multiple myloma), and she was hospitalized between Jul-Oct 2009. Sadly, by the end of 2009 both parents passed away (father in Oct & mother in Dec). Of course, this was very painful to all of us and it was like end of my own life. Anyway, during 2010 I was trying to clear all business-related matters and partnership between me and a company I was working with. Also, I had to be with my four sisters to complete procedures and distributer parents legacy which took more than a year. Since Feb 2011, again we started our plan to return back home (Vancouver, BC) and permanently live.

Q. How complex is the situation, what we need to consider when applying for hir and how long will it take to process child sponsorship?

Thanks a lot

The second child was born before you, your wife, and your first child landed in Canada, right? If so, was the second child added to your application? And did you declare her at landing?

And are you, your wife and your first child now back in Canada? To keep your PR status you have to remain in Canada for two years in every five year period.
