Child on the same passport with th mother

Hi,
I need to submit our papers for the PR to London. My son 5 years old is on my passport(mother).
Is it k to proceed or I have to make new passports for him and me?
The procedure is not easy as I m not in my home country ( embassy do not provide electronic passport)
Please advise any experince on the subject?

My daughter is being included in her mothers passport and I think it won't be a problem until she gets 12. However I always thought of doing for her a separate passport but now its too late and inconvenient for me to do that as my application is in process. But if you have option you can do that before submitting full docs to CHC otherwise don't worry... a child until the age of 12 can be included in his/her mother passport by laws....
