just want to know what will be the status of the child born in canada if the parents are on work permit status

Child will be a Canadian citizen

Note that just because the child will be Canadian it will not make any difference to your status you would still only be able to stay in Canada whilst your work permits are still valid or you gain some other legal status such as visitor or apply to be PRs

Every kid born in Canada is Canadian, regardless of the parents' status.
The only exception is when parents are foreign diplomats.
