I will be eligible next month to apply for Child Benefits. Are payments calculated from date of landing in Canada or from date of eligibility (18 months). Am I going to get retroactive payments or...? Any experience or advice?

Only from the 18th month. Assume you have remained in Canada for those 18 months.
