Child before SA, whats next?

Hi everyone

our baby was born while we were busy with stage 1, now we received SA. iwas under the impression that all iwill need to do is inform my visa office(applicant). but my visa office emailed back saying the sponsor need to inform Canada and add the baby to be sponsored and pay the processing fee. there after ineed to send proof.

my question is, how do we go about it? and are the any forms needed. or should the sponsor just email Canada and inform them. then wait for a respond from them?

We need more information. Is one of the parents a Canadian citizen? Or only a PR.

The child needs to be added to the application. There are usually some forms that need to be redone but that is up to the visa office. You will need the child's birth certificate and passport, take the child for a medical from a Panel Physician and pay the fee.

The VO has your application now, so it should be them that you send the information to, not Mississauga. Email them back and ask what forms they need updated to add the child.

This is what exactly happened to us, I'm 7 months pregnant when we submitted our application last Aug 26, 2015. Supposedly we're going to receive SA October last week to November first week but sad to say until now we dont have SA. We already called cic and we received email from them saying our application is still with an officer for pending review. Our baby was born October 14, 2015. We are assumed that the visa officer is waiting for our baby's birth certificate, passport information and the additional form that we need to fillup again. Next week our baby's passport will release and hopefully before the year ends we can submit our baby's documents.
