Work experience is not counted as gap if you provide them with valid certificates from your employer. By the way, where was your application sent? You would have got a message telling you where it was sent. I presume it's Bangalore because that's where most of the applications from Chennai was sent.

I applied on July 28th through chennai vfs but still i see no update in my cic account

Applied via vfs chennai on 17 july , documents sent to Banglore. Till not there is no update and college starts september 5th , conestoga college will not allow me an extension . Not sure what to do !! Anyone else from chennai applied around the same date ??
