Firstly, I didn't call you stupid and lazy. I said it was one or the other.

Had you looked at the forms, you would have found the answers you were looking for. People who don't look at the forms and come on here looking for answers are lazy.

The forms change, the rules change, the guidance changes. What's on the CIC site is the bible and it is their for a reason. You didn't come on here asking about questions having reviewed the forms, you came here asking for answers having not reviewed the instruction guide and documents checklist. This is the kind of thing that will result in you making a major error with your application.

I, and many others, spend a lot of their time helping people out on here - so for you to suggest I'm this or that just isn't accurate or fair. I was, and am annoyed by the fact that people post questions, expecting others to answer, when they haven't even looked at the basic info available to them.

so if you are so annoyed by this.. why don't you just stop doing this and spend your precious time doing something that matters to you...

I am sure this forum has lot of other people who don't mind answering silly questions (like many already did answer)...

for what it's worth... I am pretty sure this forum will not miss you...

Helping people on this forum does matter to me.

Dealing with people like you, not so much.

Please let's leave it there now guys

Dec2013, you have your answer. I notice you are new here - welcome. You'll find people are extraordinarily knowledgeable and a very valuable source of information here. There are however some unwritten rules that people abide by:
- do your own research, don't just rely on people here
- learn stuff for yourself so that you can pass it on to others (ie pay it forward)
- don't swear and be respectful

Good luck with your application

I recently got my GMCS note and it states that IMM5476 is missing. I did not included because It clearly stated that if you have any represented than to fill it out and send it with the rest of te documents.. So I didn't submitted now what should I do? Should I write a letter stating that I did not have a representative?

Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

farah123: This is news to me.. I was told that if you are not using a representative, you need not submit that form.. also, I am a single applicant, no dependents no children so I will not be sending Additional Dependents (IMM0008DEP) form...

Can seniors pls confirm this?

You don't have to enclose 'Use of a Representative' (IMM5476) unless you wish to appoint a representative.

What's the context? Do the notes literally say "missing"? The word missing implies something is not where it was expected to be.

No, you don't need to submit IMM0008DEP since you you don't have more than five dependents. ;)

This is what it says in my GMCS NOTE...

Imm5476 use of a representative form : not on file. FOSS CHECKS: completed for sponsor applicant and relatives in Canada ELIGIBILITY DOCUMENTS : all required documents on file· ADMISSIBILITY DOCUMENT: outstanding doc to be requested later

Not on file? I did not even have any representative to begin with so why would they ask for it?

When did they ask you for it?

These notes don't say the form is missing. They simply remark that it's not on file. And as an optional form it doesn't have to be.

Thanks a lot LPS! :D
