right, use your 1st or 2nd AOR as immigration file number, Date of birth, your name (first , last or last only or first only), birthplace country. this is the first way to check online status, 2nd way is CAIPS note but this stage you dont need and CAIPS note is paid one. E-case status is by CIC only and no charges, you can check anytime, but mostlu E-case update on Tuesday only ( I heared its update on evening time to late night as per Canada time).
