CHC ND replied not to contact for application status for 8 month!!!!!!

Hi, everyone,
This is not a good news that according to my friend ( who is an immigration representative) got a reply frm CHC ND stating that '' please do not request for application status for 8 months since the date we received your application. We will contact you when and how it is needed''

I am surprised what does it mean?, means will they complete the whole process within 8 months or take 8 months for the progress??

What do u think seniors??

Really very bad news. Well, according to me, it seems it will take 8 months and more to just progress. So it seems, it will take about a year or so to get Visas in hand.

We can only pray to God to be more lenient on us and bless us all with Visas to Canada ASAP.

this is a standard reply they send to applicants asking for their status...butnormally they take 3 to 5 monts to send medical...

New Delhi visa office is very fast, it is virtually flying. This is standard reply. Your friend consultant would have been sending too much of case specific inquiry.

There are many possibilities for this reply... First, Is this for the applications which are initially submitted to CIO? Second, Is the for only those applications which are being transferred to CHC, ND after June 26, 2010 (New NOC list)?

Other possibilities include many email queries as explorer said.

We need to think positive guys.

I am expressing my utter gratitude to them that they didnt say 2-3 years.
Look at the threads of January, Feb, March, April, May, June Applicants, the number of applicants have doubled, triplled, quadrapled, Quintupled, Sextupled and Septupled. What would you want them to reply other than what they did?
