Hi All:

i am currently working as Project Manager in US under H1 visa since January 2009. Before this i was working as Business Analyst and i applied for Canadian PR in May 2009 under the NOC code 2171 because i did not had 1 full year experience as a Project manager. I got the rejected letter in the mail.

Can i apply under NOC 0213 now that i have one full year of work experience as a Manager? I know initially we do not need to submit any papers but do i need to write to them about my previous application as well explaining why i am applying under the new category?
please please HELP!

If your first application was rejected, you can apply again if you wish there is no problem. You only fill all the forms over again.

There is a question about previous applications in background declaration form ( question 9-2 ) it just asks if you have ever applied for permanent residence in Canada before and in the space below you can explain what happened, dont worry just apply again. Hundreds of people are rejected and reapply and change NOC codes. Its common.
