Hi Guys, I am looking for an expert suggestion.

I joined my first semester during Winter 2019. My first semester is going to get over by this month. Lately, I realized the outcome of the course is not the right choice and I may have to struggle a lot to set myself a career in the future. I decided to pursue a 2-semester course available in the same college starting in Fall 2019 if accepted. There will be 4 months gaps since the program is only available during Fall 2019.

My question is:

1) Will the gap considered as an authorized gap for an international student in Canada?
2) Can i stay in Canada during those 4 month gap ?
3) Can i work as a part-time student during those period ?

Your school has an international student advisor and an immigration advisor talk to them first.

I believe as long as you have the new LOA for the other program you can stay, unsure about work.

You also have to consider the implications for PGWP since you didn't complete the program and start new program fresh it probably wont count and if you do a transfer it will probably be considered an unscheduled break so you wont be elligable for PGWP.
