changing name during the pr process?also couple questions...

we are applying outland. married couple months now. we are applying with my maiden name, and changing my name during the process(my home country wants marriage certificate to be legalized in canada before i can apply new passport etc, timeline for this is about 8weeks, so we are planning to save time.). Can i change my last name during the process? when i get my passport with my new last name? and how this works? i just send email and copy of passport?

i have been visiting my husband almost a year now, what i should answer questions in application where they ask about visiting(is your sponsor visited for you)?

can i send everything together(immigration pictures, medicals..)to mississauga?

we have a lot of msn conversations before i came and when i was already in canada and my husband needed to travel cause of work, sadly my old computer is not working anymore, so i cant get the msn history from there, and im not even kidding, but my husbands computer stopped working couple months ago. so we have msn history only from January 2010. is this gonna affect my pr process?

And last but not least... When pr application asks about my family(mom, dad, siblings..) do i have to fill it, cause my family is not coming with me to canada?

You can change your name during the process, but it is easier if you don't. But if you do, send the visa office processing your application copies of your new passport and other docs with your married name, with a letter explaining everything.

Just answer truthfully. State the dates of the visits. If you are in Canada visiting, then your sponsor won't be visiting you, so just explain that. The VOs want to see visits, but it doesn't matter who is visiting whom.

Yes, you send everything to Mississauga for an outland application.

Just send in an explanation with the evidence. As well, increase the amount of other relationship evidence you send in to compensate for the missing evidence.

And last but not least... When pr application asks about my family(mom, dad, siblings..) do i have to fill it, cause my family is not coming with me to canada?

On most of the forms, 'family members' refers to only your spouse or partner and dependent children. They do not mean your parents and siblings. But you do list your parents and siblings on the the 'IMM 5406 Additional Family Information' form. You do not have to submit medicals or photos for your parents and siblings.

Hello again!

Im wondering do i have to submit like official certificate of my personal info in my home country, when we will send the pr application É
i have to legalize marriage certificate in canadian goverment (ottawa) before sending it my home country and update my information.
the timeline for this is now around 7weeks. Would it be possible to send the application to mississauga and later when i have update my personal info to my home country i will send that certificate to london cic É

currently we are filling the application, soon start to make copies and printing pictures... cant wait, i hope everything goes quickly and smoothly.

i hope someone can help me with this! ;D
