Changing last name in Ontario?

sorry if there is already topic of this, couldnt find it.

anyway, got married and want to take my spouses last name. marriage certificate is on my maiden name. i read information from website, but not sure do i have to do it? i will be applying new passport soon, so i need to know this.
currently im in canada as a visitor, and starting sponsorship process as soon as i can get the last name thingy and passport sorted out.

Go to your embasy they will do the passport for you.
