Hey,

my wife-to-be is gonna change her family name to mine right after the wedding, will that slow down the process? do we have to send immigration any documents indicating a change in the last name after she changes her name? her current signature will change with her name, will that affect us in the process or make her signature on the application no valid?

THANKS A LOT !

No just make sure you notify CIC and you will be just fine .

The key name that CIC cares about is the name on the passport. If you want to notify CIC of a name change, you need to give them an copy of your new passport with the name change.
