Changing Course in Same College After June 1st 2014

Hi,
Since there are lots of new rules effective after June 1st 2014 I just want to know whether I am allowed to change course in same college (both 1 year PG Certificates) but in two different fields. I have acceptance letter for both courses and I want to change from Technical to Marketing Management. Is this possible and will my study permit still be valid. One course has a co-op semester so do I need to extend study permit for that? Will these complications cause any harm to my 1 year pgwp. Please let me know.

pick the one with coop if it interests you.

and once you have decided to do it call up cic and inform.

they will tell you how to proceed then.

Oh man I just realized that the program is now full.. can I get visa extension for my student visa if I choose the marketing management program after completing my 1 year Interactive Multimedia program. Since both of them are not in a related field. What do you think? Also, after completing 2 years of study I should be eligible for 3 years of work permit right. Lastly, during extension of visa do I need to again show GIC or proof of funds.

the second one would be like a new program you are preparing to study
