I have got admission in a 1 yr and also for a 3 yr program.

I want to study the 1 yr program as 3 yr program will be expensive for me. Can i change once i have taken visa on basis of 3 yr program.

Also If i get visa on PHD/ Masters , Can Iswitch it to a certificate course on landing in Canada? and go for higher studies after that if situation permits.

Regards

if ur switching from Masters level to a certificate course u shud intimate the CIC..when you are switching the course should be on the same level or a higher ones

Assumed so ... thank you...

still any chance if i change a longer duration program into shorter 1, like from diploma to certificate in the same field?

Thank you!

u know u can switch to the lower level courses too, just that u shud intimate n i guess even take an approval from CIC..

if on same level, no need...or just an intimation is enough if u wish to do

As a matter of fact u don't even need to inform cic even if ur downgrading ur level of study. So long as it's post secondary aka after high school ur good to go. Source: cic website.
