Hello everyone…

I applied to Canada two months ago and got refused. Now, I want to apply again but there will be some differences in my application this time, and I’ll add some new things, so I want you to tell me if any of them would make any problems or it’s in the wrong way and answer my questions as possible.

- I’ll change and add some new things to my information and my family information… because there were small wrong things in the dates and names, and I may fill out some optional places that I didn't last time.

- I’ll use different bank account from different bank because I can’t use the bank account that I used last time due to some reasons

- The last bank account was in local currency, yet the one I will use this time is in US dollar.. will this make any problems?

- The new bank account has been opened for 4 years but will not have six months statement because I almost don’t use it or keep money in it so it will not make any difference, but I put a good amount of money in it a week ago.

- Can I support my bank account with any other documents since it’s not satisfied enough? From the place I work in or something.

- Will the embassy deal with this application as a new one which is separate from the last one? or will it check the last application and ask me to give the same things that were in the old application like bank account or ask why have I changed them?

- Is it true that the approval or the refusal depend on the officer’s mood? Because a friend of mine had applied a month before me with almost the same things and the same situation and got approved.

Best regards.

No. Refusals are guided by law and policy, not the officers "mood". Your friend is not you and his case is different.

For the rest of your questions - they will look at your previous application and if you change a bunch of things, it will naturally raise questions. If the changes aren't significant, it's not an issue, but if they are major changes like whole new bank account with a large sum of money that arrived a week ago (and USD to boot) - that will be an issue. You'll have to show where you got the money from to have a chance of success.

And what do you mean that the dates and names in your family information form were not correct the last time around?

Significant changes like this will raise questions for sure.

Thank you for your answer,

- I’ll just add some new documents and papers to support my application that weren’t added last time.

- Some of my family members’ name (sister and some aunts) have some mistakes in spelling or their father’s name is missing so they are different from their ID or passports.. that happened because I let an office to fill the application out for me, and they weren’t careful

- Due to the office too, there are some wrong dates in a few things, such as when I have started and finished the university.

- My salary is in USD but I have asked my manager to exchange it to the local currency and send it to my bank account with local currency, so he let some people exchange it and send it… but this time I told him to send it directly to my USD bank account and I gave a friend some other money in USD to transfer it to my account too… that’s why I don’t use my USD bank account a lot and if I put some money in it, I usually leave it there for a few days and debit it.

- So, what should I do? and what Should I tell the embassy?

So basically your first application was incorrect in quite a few ways. It's ultimately your responsibility, you can't blame an agent/office/anyone else for that.

However, the good news is that none of the errors appear to be very significant, so it's shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Regarding the bank account - I can't make head or tail of your explanation, so I'm going to refrain from commenting.

All I'll say is that IRCC will want to know whether the money is yours, and earned legitimately. If you can prove that by showing bank documents, pay slips, income tax returns, and so on, it shouldn't be an issue. If you can't, it will be an issue.

Can you please explain more…

- What do you mean by pay slips? Should I tell my manager to write a paper that tells how much do I earn every month?

- What do you also mean by showing bank documents? Are there any other documents should I ask the bank to give to me? … I hope you mention them all as possible.
