Hello everybody,

While waiting until my application is totally aproved, I live in the Netherlands. My boyfriend, who is my sponsor lives in Montreal. Now because of financial reasons I want to move to my mom's house (also in the Netherlands) until I can move to Canada Montreal permanently.

I understand that I have to report changes (like change of adres) to the CIC and VO. But now my question is....will this change of adress stagnate the whole process or not?

We are in the last stage already. Sponsorship has been approved and Quebec part has been approved also. Only waiting for Vienna VO.

Hope somebody can help me.

Hi Remrov,

It shouldn't delay the process in any way. Just send Vienna VO an e-mail or case specific enquiry and make sure you get confirmation back (you don't want your CoPR to be sent to your old address and get lost!)

I also think it won't change anything - I had to update a postal code that was entered wrong, did it online and it showed up on Ecas after a week, no problem.

Okay, thank you both for your respons.
I think that I will just follow my plans then and move in with my mom for a while. That will also give me more time to sell me furniture.
