Changes to be made after January 2013

Dear members,

I came to know that the FSWC will be open on January 1st 2013 to managers, professionals and technicians, who:

- Have at least 1 year of full-time work experience in the last 10 years

- Demonstrate at least an Adequate-Intermediate language proficiency in English or French (Canadian Language Benchmark: 7)

- Obtain at least 67 points on the new point grid (based on language proficiency, age, work experience, education and adaptability etc.)

- Have their foreign education credentials assessed, authenticated and given an equivalent value in Canada.

It seems these are the changes that CIO is going to make.

Anyone else knows any other significant changes that are going to occur?

IELTS would become mandatory with minimum threshold.
Age points would start reducing from 36 yrs or more. 1 point would reduce withe each passing year.
To get maximum points of exp. a person should have 6 yrs of exp (earlier it was 4 yrs).
